Brandon Spithaler Will Lose The Wings Again This Weekend At Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway!
Pittsburgh, PA (9/26/2012) – Evan City, Pennsylvania native and Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (B.O.S.S.) regular, Brandon Spithaler, will complete without the wings this Saturday evening, September 29th, at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial, Pennsylvania for the track’s second wingless sprint car event of the season. The Western Pennsylvania ‘410’ sprint car competitor has been a regular traveler with the newly formed B.O.S.S. series since the start of the 2012 season, and will follow the tour to Pittsburgh’s big half-mile this Saturday evening. The B.O.S.S. ‘410’ wingless sprinters will be highlighted with a $1,200-to-win/$300-to-start main event this weekend at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway; with many other extra incentives also on the line. There were 18 wingless sprint cars signed-in for action during the first Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series visit to Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Andre Layfield would tame ‘Dirt’s Monster Half-Mile’ and earn the victory.
Brandon Spithaler finished fifth in the B.O.S.S. main event during the series’ first visit to Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway earlier this season. The former B.O.S.S. winner currently sits sixth in the updated B.O.S.S. standings entering this weekend’s lone series program. Spithaler’s only Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series win of the season came at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 19th. The Evan City native also owns a win at Mercer Raceway Park during weekly competition.
Pit gates will be open all day Saturday, but pits will be cleared at 4:30 pm and gates officially will open at 5 pm. Pit passes will be $35 for this event. There are no membership fees or registration fees to compete with BOSS or at PPMS. The BOSS series is an open tire rule and all teams are welcome to compete. Heat races will line up by pill draw.
