Brent Marks charges 21 positions in three events
Five races in seven days ahead

MYERSTOWN, PA (May 15, 2017) – The “Myerstown Missile” Brent Marks put on a passing clinic during his last three World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series starts, charging forward for a combined total of 21 positions in three feature programs, one of which resulting in a KSE Hard Charger Award at Eldora Speedway on Saturday, May 13.

Marks, pilot of the Brent Marks Racing/M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/A. Murray Family Investments, LLC./No. 19, finished 14th from 24th and 12th from 20th during his #LetsRaceTwo weekend campaign at Eldora Speedway on May 12-13, followed by a 16th place finish from the inside of row 10 at the Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana, on Sunday, May 14. It was a first ever Tri-State Speedway start for the former Pennsylvania Posse representative, qualifying for the 40-lap main event after finishing fifth in heat race competition.

“It was a great weekend for everyone involved. The final results may not read that way, but we passed a lot of cars, and that shows what we are capable of doing. It’s definitely fun to move through traffic like that,” Brent Marks explained. “We just need to put ourselves in better positions after qualifying and heat races. All in all, I’m very proud of my team. We get to race close to home for the next few races. We’re more than pumped to go home and sleep in our own beds for a change.”

For the first time in 2017, Brent Marks will have the opportunity to join the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series in his own backyard, set to return to Central Pennsylvania with the Greatest Show On Dirt for three events in four days beginning with the annual Gettysburg Clash.

Marks, who was victorious at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace” earlier this season during an Outlaw off-week, will follow the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series campaign trail to Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown on Wednesday, May 17, followed by two consecutive nights of competition at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg on Friday and Saturday, May 19-20. Saturday’s program, dubbed the Morgan Cup, will award a grand total of $17,000 to the main event winner.

Marks’ first World of Outlaws invasion of the Northeast will continue with two additional programs in three days, set to visit the Weedsport Speedway in Weedsport, New York, on Sunday, May 21, followed by a trip to the New Egypt Speedway in New Egypt, New Jersey, on Tuesday, May 23. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania, native will enter the Northeast stretch currently 13th in the World of Outlaws championship standings, earning six top-ten finishes thus far in 2017.
