Brent Marks Earns Three Top-Ten Finishes; Eldora on Deck!
BMR Set to Join Outlaws at Eldora Speedway May 8th & 9th

Myerstown, PA (May 4th, 2015) – After recording three consecutive top-ten finishes in central Pennsylvania during the recent weekend, including a runner-up performance at the Susquehanna Speedway Park on Sunday evening, May 3rd, Brent Marks will move ahead and prepare for his journey west to the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. Marks, driver of the Brent Marks Racing, BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Diamond Toyota, no. 19M ‘410’ sprint car, will join ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’ at ‘The Big E’ on Friday and Saturday, May 8th & 9th; searching for a career-first World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series victory at one of the world’s most famous dirt ovals.
“We are excited to get out there” explained Brent Marks, “I am really proud of what we have going on right now…we’ve been really consistent and that is super important in terms of building momentum and team confidence…this team works hard…we have some amazing sponsors on board with us and they support everything we do…we are anxious to get out of town for a while and get back to Eldora Speedway.”
Eldora Speedway will host two complete shows for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series this upcoming Friday and Saturday, with the USAC National non-wing sprint cars also on the weekend card; together for the first time in history. Brent Marks will take part in the historic weekend with little prior experience at the Rossburg half-mile. Despite the limited experience, Marks finished 19th during the $50,000-to-win ‘Kings Royal’ at Eldora Speedway last July; there were 47 sprint cars on hand.
“We have a little bit of experience at Eldora Speedway but not as much as a lot of these teams” said Marks, “We all have a great attitude right now and our confidence is high…we’ll head into the weekend with the same goal in mind as any other weekend and work to get up front.”
Brent Marks Racing ended their recent three-race weekend in ‘Posse Country’ with three consecutive top-ten finishes including a pair of top-fives. Marks kicked-off the weekend at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday, May 1st; finishing fifth during main event action. The ‘Myerstown Missile’ finished sixth during the $6,900-to-win ‘Weldon Sterner Memorial’ at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 2nd, followed by a runner-up performance at the Susquehanna Speedway Park near York Haven, Pennsylvania on Sunday evening, May 3rd. Brent Marks has been one of the most consistent drivers in central Pennsylvania thus far in 2015, and finds himself fourth in the Hoseheads Central Pennsylvania standings. The only thing ‘BMR’ is missing is a victory.
“We’ve been fast but just need to capitalize” said Marks, “We’ll get that first win soon enough…this team is due.”
