Brent Marks ends North Dakota road trip with pair of top-ten finishes

MYERSTOWN, Pa. (June 18, 2018) – Brent Marks continued his 2018 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series campaign with a pair of starts in North Dakota, following the Greatest Show On Dirt to River Cities Speedway and Nodak Speedway on Friday and Sunday, June 15 & 17, respectively.
The driver of the Brent Marks Racing/M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Eagle Hotel/No. 19 sprinter finished eighth during each of his starts in North Dakota, battling ahead from row seven at River Cities Speedway and row six at Nodak Speedway. The pair of top-ten performances bumped his season total to 11, now just 16 markers outside of the top-ten in the World of Outlaws championship standings.
Padding his consistent weekend, Marks finished fourth during each of his respective heat races to qualify for the World of Outlaws main events.
“That was a fun weekend,” Brent Marks said, a recent first-time winner with the Greatest Show On Dirt during action in Wisconsin. “It feels good to put together consistent weekends like that. We’re having a lot of fun right now and that keeps us motivated. I can’t thank my crew and all of my supporters enough for their hard work and dedication. We had some tough times this year, but these positive results make up for all of that. Hopefully we are making all of our fans back home proud.”
Brent Marks will continue his 2018 World of Outlaws campaign with a visit to Iowa and Wisconsin during the upcoming weekend, first visiting Farley Speedway in Farley, Iowa, on Friday, June 22, followed by a trip to Beaver Dam Raceway in Beaver Dam, Wis., on Saturday, June 23.
