MYERSTOWN, Pa. (May 13, 2019) – For the first time in 2019, Brent Marks will have the opportunity to battle the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series from comfort of his own race shop, as the Greatest Show On Dirt prepares for an extended weekend in the Keystone State, followed by a trip to central New York.
Brent Marks, driver of the Brent Marks Racing/M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Eagle Hotel/No. 19 sprint car, will participate in a busy stretch consisting of four events over five days, first visiting the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pa., on Wednesday, May 15.
Action will resume with the Morgan Cup doubleheader at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa., on Friday and Saturday, May 17 & 18, all of which capped off with a Sunday night visit to Weedsport Speedway in Weedsport, New York, on Sunday, May 19; the site of a World of Outlaws victory for Marks during the 2018 season – a 35-lap, wire-to-wire win worth $10,000.
“I’m ready for a few extra days in my own bed. Getting to race in front of my home fans is just a bonus,” third-year Outlaw Brent Marks laughed, who is currently 11th in the World of Outlaws championship standings. “The atmosphere in Central Pennsylvania is second to none. Hopefully we can put together some solid performances for all of those coming out to support us. It should be an exciting week and weekend.”
Brent Marks will enter the Pennsylvania stretch fresh off of an Eldora Speedway start on Friday, May 10, utilizing a World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series provisional to start 25th on the #LetsRaceTwo feature grid. The ‘Myerstown Missile’ advanced to an 18th place finish.
