MYERSTOWN, Pa. (June 10, 2019) – Ever since his visit to the Music City, Brent Marks has been on a tear of consistency, recently padding his 2019 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series statistics with another pair of top-ten performances, this time during action at Fairbury Speedway and Granite City Speedway on Tuesday and Saturday, June 4 & 8, respectively.
Certainly the highlight of his recent stretch of competition against the Greatest Show On Dirt, the ‘Myerstown Missile’ finished fifth at Granite City Speedway in Sauk Rapids, Minn., on Saturday, June 8; a two-position improvement after starting seventh on the feature grid. For Marks, the recent stretch of success boosted his 2019 statistics to seven top-ten finishes, three of which inside the top-five.
Marks finished eighth at Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury, Ill., on Tuesday, June 4.
“We’re starting to see a lot of consistency and that’s really motivating for our program, especially with a busy few months ahead and a lot of high-dollar races,” Brent Marks explained, driver of the Brent Marks Racing/M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Eagle Hotel/No. 19 sprint car. “I can’t thank this team enough for their hard work and dedication. Up next on the schedule, Brent Marks and Brent Marks Racing will make the tow to Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, for a two-day appearance on Friday and Saturday, June 14 & 15. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania-native will enter the weekend ninth in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series championship standings.
