PENNDEL, Pa. (April 1, 2019) – Despite inexperience and periods of bad luck, Brett Michalski’s recent weekend of competition was filled with benefits, already looking ahead to a potential Central Pennsylvania triple on Friday through Sunday, April 5-7.

Michalski, driver of the Brett Michalski Motorsports/JR Michalski Heating & Air Conditioning/Irish Rover Station House/York by Johnson Controls/Wood Services/No. 73B sprint car, continued his 2019 season with visits to Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway on Friday and Saturday, March 29 & 30, respectively. It was not an easy road for the Penndel-native, highlighting his starts with a 17th place run at The Grove.

In fact, it was Michalski’s second-ever start at Williams Grove Speedway during 410c.i. competition, and on Saturday at Lincoln Speedway where he was scored 20th, Michalski was faced with multiple mechanical issues; a broken brake caliper during heat race action and a broken right-rear shock during the main event. In addition, Michalski’s wing malfunctioned at Lincoln, forcing the 2018 Rookie of the Year to race with the top wing stuck all the way forward.

Despite the problems, the lap time proved beneficial.

“It was quite the weekend. Nothing to be frustrated about, we’ll just rebound big next weekend,” Brett Michalski explained. “I can’t thank my team, my supporters, and all of my family enough for their hard work and dedication so far this season. Racing in Central PA can be quite demanding, but when you have solid finishes, it makes the hard work worth it. We’ll take the lap time any day, regardless of any issues. We have a long season ahead.”

Brett Michalski Motorsports will continue their 2019 campaign with the possibility of a Central Pennsylvania triple-header on Friday through Sunday, April 5-7. The plan is to visit Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, all capped off with a Sunday night visit to BAPS Motor Speedway on Sunday.
