PENNDEL, Pa. (August 26, 2019) – For the first time in his career, Penndel, Pennsylvania’s Brett Michalski is a main event starter against Tony Stewart’s All Star Circuit of Champions, doing so during appearances at Grandview Speedway on August 22, Lincoln Speedway on August 24 and BAPS Motor Speedway on August 25.
When the dust settled on Sunday night, the former Rookie of the Year at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway, as well as recent feature winner, found himself with three respectable outcomes, led the way by a charge from 21st to finish 13th at BAPS Motor Speedway on Sunday evening.
In addition, Michalski finished 18th at Grandview Speedway – his first official All Star Circuit of Champions main event start – and 19th at Lincoln Speedway.
“It was a solid weekend for us. We certainly learned a lot while racing with the All Stars. It’s a tough group, but we put our notes to work and did everything we could to put on a show for the fans,” Brett Michalski explained, driver of the Brett Michalski Motorsports/JR Michalski Heating & Air Conditioning/Irish Rover Station House/York by Johnson Controls/Wood Services/Big Heads/Richboro Pub/Maxim Chassis/Don Ott Racing Engines/Kriner Engines/Penske Shocks/VP Racing Fuels/Hoosier Tire/Wings Unlimited/Racer’s Used and New Parts Warehouse/No. 73B sprint car. “Racing with that kind of talent is only going to help us improve. There are a lot of big races ahead on our schedule. Our goal is to put ourselves in position to qualify for all of them.”
Labor Day weekend is a busy time for winged warriors in Central Pennsylvania. Racing possibilities include starts at Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, Selinsgrove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway. A return to Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, August 31, stands as certain for Michalski. Other destinations will be determined as the week progresses.
