Fremont, OH (June 14th, 2014) – Twenty-one (21) Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service sprint cars were signed in for action at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Saturday evening, June 14th. It was Brandon Wimmer with the fastest time of the night during F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series qualifying time trials; 12.858 seconds was the official time. Rob Chaney, Travis Philo, Chris Andrews and Jody Keegan rounded out the top five fastest qualifiers. Dean Jacobs, Broc Martin and Stuart Williams each earned F.A.S.T. heat race victories on Saturday night. Dave Blaney won the $1,000-to-win ‘Australian Pursuit.’ ‘The Buckeye Bullet’ also accepted the $5,000 ‘front row’ challenge sponsored by Baumann Auto Group; he would start at the tail of the 30-lap A-main. Brian Lay would go on to earn his second Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service main event win of the 2014 season on Saturday night at Fremont Speedway. Lay is the first repeat F.A.S.T. ‘410’ winner of the year. Chris Andrews and Brian Smith rounded out the top three finishers. Lay started the main event fifth. DJ Foos was the hard charger; he started 20th.

A solid field of twenty-five (25) JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro sprint cars were signed in at Fremont Speedway on Saturday, June 14th. There was no qualifying time trials for the F.A.S.T. ‘305’ sprinters on Saturday night. Steve Rando, Kyle Capodice and Nate Dussel each earned victories during their respective heat races. Friday night winner at Attica Raceway Park, Alvin Roepke, earned the F.A.S.T. ‘305’ B-main win. Seth Schneider, Mike Burkin, Dan Hennig and Luke Griffith also transferred from the evening’s ‘305’ B-main. Bobby Clark picked up his first JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro main event win of the 2014 season on Saturday night at ‘The Track That Action Built.’ Nate Dussel and Jordan Ryan rounded out the podium finishers. There still has yet to be a repeat winner during F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series competition in 2014. Mike Burkin was the ‘305’ hard charger; charging from 18th to 6th.

History Note:  Chris Andrews earned the Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service Night #8 main event win on Friday evening, June 13th at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. Andrews, who became the seventh different F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series winner in seven events on Friday night, passed Byron Reed coming off of turn four on the final circuit to secure his spot in victory lane. Alvin Roepke, who took home the JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro victory on Friday evening at Attica Raceway Park, had similar feature fate. Roepke would earn his win over Tyler Gunn coming off of turn four on the final circuit. There has only been one cancellation thus far in 2014; taking place during F.A.S.T. ‘410’ action back Friday, April 25th at Attica Raceway Park. There has yet to be any repeat winner during F.A.S.T. competition in 2014 (Entering action on June 14th).

Future Reference: The Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service will return to action Friday and Saturday, July 4th & 5th at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway. The July 4th/5th weekend will act as Night #10 and Night #11 of the 2014 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ schedule. The JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro will not return to competition until Friday and Saturday, July 25th & 26th for Night #7 and Night #8 of the their 2014 campaign.
