Brock Zearfoss edged out in Western Australia Speedweek championship; All eyes on Florida

JONESTOWN, Pa. (January 13, 2025) – It was down to the wire for Brock Zearfoss and car owner Sean Carren, and despite a hard fought attempt that included a pair of finishes no worse than 11th, the “Jonestown Jet” was forced to conclude his Western Australia Speedweek championship campaign in the runner-up position – edged out by Dayne Kingshott by a final margin of less than ten points.

As noted, Zearfoss, a former Western Australia Speedweek champion, finished no worse than 11th in the final weekend of Speedweek competition, kicking off Perth Motorplex’s two-day contest with a fifth-place score on January 10, followed by the aforementioned 11th-place score on January 11. Although winless in his Speedweek slate, the Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native finished as high as third – occurring on opening night on December 26 – with two additional top-fives also recorded. 

“Overall, I am really pleased with our performances in Australia. It was a great trip and I’m more than grateful for the opportunity, “Brock Zearfoss said. “I think we were good enough to win on multiple occasions, especially at Bunbury last weekend, but we made the best of every scenario and put together a really consistent stat sheet. Sean Carren does an incredible job and his team is second to none. I hope to be back next year and give it another go for a Western Australia Speedweek.”

Brock Zearfoss will return home and begin preparations for his 2025 American campaign, launching things with a trip to the Sunshine State with his own Brock Zearfoss Racing No. 3Z. A full Florida agenda will be released in the coming days.
