JONESTOWN, Pa. (August 26, 2019) – It was a long weekend, but it was a long weekend close to home for the ‘Jonestown Jet’ Brock Zearfoss, participating in four All Star Circuit of Champions events in four days at four different Pennsylvania facilities. When the dust settled on Sunday night, Zearfoss found himself with a pair of top-ten finishes, one of which a top-five to conclude his journeys on Sunday night at BAPS Motor Speedway.

Zearfoss, driver of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/No. 70 sprint car, finished fourth during his outing at BAPS Motor Speedway on August 25, climbing ahead six spots after starting tenth on the grid.

The nearby Jonestown-native activated his weekend with a ninth place run at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, August 22.

“It was nice working close to home,” Brock Zearfoss said, who owns two All Star Circuit of Champions victories in 2019, each accomplished in the Empire State. “Hats off to my team, Shane and Tye, for working hard and never giving up. It was a long four days, but they hustled the entire time. I’m proud of them and wouldn’t be in this position without them.”

From one four-race weekend to the next, Brock Zearfoss will continue his 2019 All Star Circuit of Champions campaign with a four-day visit to the Buckeye State, set to invade Attica Raceway Park in Attica on Friday and Saturday, August 30 & 31, followed by a two-day stay at Wayne County Speedway on Sunday and Monday, September 1 & 2. Although extensive, the weekend also has the potential to be profitable, as the Brad Doty Classic at Attica on August 31 awards a $10,000 payday, followed by the $12,000-to-win Pete Jacobs Memorial at Wayne County on Sunday, September 1. The ‘Jonestown Jet’ will enter the weekend fifth the current All Star championship point race.
