GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (June 10, 2024) – It was certainly a “Home Game” for Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing, and the home dirt advantage certainly paid off, eventually concluding I-70 Speedway’s two-day Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race with back-to-back top-tens, highlighting the weekend with a top-five in the High Limit opener. Brown, who headquarters his race team in nearby Grain Valley, Missouri, had a mere 15 minute jaunt to the Odessa facility; an incredibly short distance considering much of his Midwest and Mid-Atlantic campaign.

As noted, Brown’s weekend concluded with back-to-back top-tens, opening High Limit Racing competition with a fourth-place score on Friday, June 7, racing on to finish ninth in the weekend’s $26,000-to-win finale on Saturday, June 8. Padding Brown’s stat card is an impressive preliminary effort in Friday’s opener, not only setting the fastest qualifying time of the night, but ultimately winning the evening’s dash; he started on the pole later that evening.

“Overall, a great effort by this entire Casey’s | FVP team at I-70 Speedway. Nothing like racing for that kind of money just 15 minutes from home. We were privileged to have a lot of friends and family there to support us, so that only added to the hype,” Brown, ace of the Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Mt. Dew Overdrive, Ditzfeld Transfer, No. 21 sprint car, expressed. “Friday started out well with setting quick time in qualifying. We were able to win the dash, but I think starting on the inside may have hurt us some on the initial start. Still proud to hang on to finish fourth. Saturday, we were just very, very tight early on but managed to battle back to secure another top-ten.

“High Limit Racing boasts a pretty incredible field at every event, so to have the weekend that we did says a lot” Brown added. “Chad, Justin, Devin, Lath…these guys did a phenomenal job all weekend long in making sure our Casey’s | FVP No. 21 was fast. They love what they do and I appreciate their effort.”
