GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (April 10, 2023) – Despite another so-so weekend for the reigning Knoxville Raceway track champion, earning a pair of 18th-place finishes against the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at US 36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri, and 81 Speedway in Wichita, Kansas, on Friday and Saturday, April 7-8, “Blackjack” Brian Brown has already mentally moved forward, setting aim on a $50,000 top prize at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas, on Tuesday, April 11.

Sanctioned by the High Limit Sprint Car Series, the Lakeside Speedway program will feature some of the top sprint car aces in the world including 26 full-time competitors, all vying for an opportunity to be a High Limit champion in its inaugural season.

In addition, Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing will return to the Sprint Car Capital of the World – Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa – on Saturday, April 15, for its season opener.

“We have an exciting weekend ahead. Racing for $50,000 this close to home…it doesn’t get much better than that,” Brian Brown, driver of the Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Mt. Dew Overdrive, HAWK Hunting, Ditzfeld Transfer, No. 21 sprint car, said. “We’ve been fortunate to build a lot of success at Knoxville Raceway, so to finally have the opportunity to get back there is exciting, as well.

“This past weekend was just another learning weekend for our team. It was tough to get a whole night together,” Brown added. “We were a little too free in the A-Main on Friday, and we felt a little too tight on Saturday. Definitely on both sides of it all weekend, but we’ll learn from this and move on.”

ON DECK:
Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing will continue their 2023 campaign with a High Limit Sprint Car Series visit to Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas, on Tuesday, April 11, followed by Knoxville Raceway’s season opener on Saturday, April 15.
