GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (June 6, 2022) – Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing put together a near-perfect performance during their recent Knoxville Raceway visit on Saturday, June 5, scoring a pair of top-five performances including a runner-up finish during the April 23 make-up feature.
The Higginsville, Missouri, native started fifth on the make-up grid, driving to second to set-up a duel with three-time All Star Circuit of Champions champion, Aaron Reutzel. Although the lead duo got to traffic with three to go, Reutzel was able to stay wide and keep Brown at bay.
Brown, ace of the Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Rowdy Energy, Ditzfeld transfer, Champion Brands, MC Power, Weld Wheels, Housby, Maxim Chassis, J.D. Welding & Machine, Waldinger, Smiley’s Racing Products, Wolfe Eye Clinic, Mid Mo Equipment, Bell Helmets, K1 RaceGear, No. 21 sprint car, launched Saturday’s program with a fifth-place score in the regularly scheduled program, improving one position after battling with some of the best in the country including Rico Abreu and Kerry Madsen.
“We’re very proud of our two top-five finishes this weekend,” Brian Brown noted, a two-time Knoxville winner already this season. “We want to give a special thanks to Johnny Herrera, who stepped up to help us when Danny (Lasoski) couldn’t be there this weekend. As always, Justin and Dad did a phenomenal job and we’re looking forward to this weekend’s World of Outlaws doubleheader.”

Dubbed the Brownells Big Guns Bash, the two-day showcase, a perfect preamble for the forthcoming 61st running of the prestigious Knoxville Nationals, will award a pair of $10,000 top prizes.
