By Fully Injected Motorsports:
NEW CASTLE, IN (July 10, 2017) – Caleb Armstrong’s Arctic Cat All Star efforts have been strong thus far in 2017, most recently earning a top-ten finish during the 9th Annual Lou Blaney Memorial at Sharon Speedway on Saturday, July 8. Armstrong, pilot of the Armstrong Farms/Neal Metal Recycling/All Star Performance/No. 7C, finished seventh officially during his visit to the Hartford, Ohio, facility, automatically qualifying for main event competition by finishing second during his respective heat race, moving on to win one of two Arctic Cat All Star dashes.
The former USAC National Midget Series main event winner will now turn his focus toward World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series competition, joining the Greatest Show On Dirt at Attica (OH) Raceway Park on Tuesday, July 11, for the annual Brad Doty Classic.
“We really weren’t sure of a game plan for this week, but we’ve decided to head to Attica for the Brad Doty Classic,” Caleb Armstrong explained. “We tossed around the idea of heading to Eldora for the Kings Royal, but our results haven’t been too well there this year, so I think we’ll take the time to regroup and begin preparations for our next All Star road trip. We’ve been having a solid year so far. Hopefully we can put our momentum to good use this week and represent the All Stars proudly during the Brad Doty Classic.”
Armstrong is on pace for a record year during Arctic Cat All Star competition, as the New Castle, Indiana, native currently sits third in the Series championship standings, accumulating 12 top-ten finishes thus far, five of which inside the top-five.
Arctic Cat All Star commitments return on Friday, July 21, at Eriez (PA) Speedway.
