By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, Pa. (November 25, 2020) – Jonestown, Pennsylvania’s Brock Zearfoss is hitting the road full-time in 2021, set to battle head-to-head with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series aboard his own Brock Zearfoss Racing No. 3Z. Zearfoss’ third victory was accomplished during the annual Brad Doty Classic at Attica Raceway Park, scoring a $10,000 payday in the process.

“We’ve been building up to this for a long time and I’m excited for the opportunity. This is what we all work toward and I’m thrilled for it to finally become a reality. An opportunity like this wouldn’t be possible without the help from my team, my family, and of course, all of our great partners. They believe in me and believe in what we are trying to accomplish. I couldn’t be more proud of this entire operation,” Zearfoss said, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., BAPS Auto Paints & Supply, Meckley’s Limestone Products, Berkebile Oil Company, Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Brock Zearfoss to drive for Bob Ream during Copper Classic

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, Pa. (November 23, 2020) – In a quick turn of events, Brock Zearfoss’ off-season has officially been postponed, as the Jonestown, Pennsylvania-native got the call to head west and operate “Bullet” Bob Ream’s familiar No. 8 during Arizona Speedway’s annual Copper Classic featuring the ASCS Southwest Region 360 sprint cars.

Zearfoss, a two-time winner during sprint car competition in 2020 including one against the All Star Circuit of Champions, has never made a start in Arizona, but the “Jonestown Jet” hopes to find success during his first time out with Ream and ultimately leave the Grand Canyon State with a pair of marks in the win column.

The two-day Fifth Annual Copper Classic, taking over Arizona Speedway headlines on Friday and Saturday, November 27-28, will feature two, full programs for the ASCS Southwest Region sprints awarding $2,500 and $5,000, respectively. DJ Netto secured Copper Classic victories during the first two rounds in 2016 and 2017, followed by wins by Colby Copeland in 2018 and Justin Sanders in 2019.

“I can’t thank Bob Ream enough for taking a chance on me and giving me the opportunity to compete in such a special event. Bob, Tom Buch, Mark Keever, Gordon Beeding, Jim Henderson, and Jeff Green all played a big part in making this opportunity happen and I’m going to do what I can to get us up front,” Brock Zearfoss said, a former Port Royal Speedway track champion. “The weekend will be filled with a lot of firsts for me, but I’m confident we’ll have the knowledge and experience to be quick and competitive right off the trailer.

“There are some familiar names on the Copper Classic win list,” Zearfoss added. “Our plan is to join that list.”

Danny Dietrich captures third Central PA Sprint Cars Series point championship in four years

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (November 16, 2020) – Despite closing out his 2020 campaign with a frustrating “DNF” during Sprint Showdown competition at BAPS Motor Speedway on Saturday, November 14, “Double-D” Danny Dietrich still managed to secure his third Central PA Sprint Cars Series championship in four years, edging fellow Posse hotshot, Anthony Macri, by seven markers in the final tally.

Dietrich, driver of the Gary Kauffman Racing, Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Pace Performance, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC, Self Made, No. 48 sprint car, captured 12 point-earning victories during the 2020 Series chase, most recently finding the top spot during Lincoln Speedway’s season finale on October 17. The finale was one of eight triumphs in the Pigeon Hills, all of which kicked-off with the Icebreaker on February 22.

In addition to his eight victories at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway, Dietrich attained Central Pennsylvania wins at Williams Grove Speedway, Selinsgrove Speedway, Trail-Way Speedway, and Grandview Speedway. Dietrich’s Grandview win, forced to out-duel now three-time All Star champion, Aaron Reutzel, in a final lap shootout, was accomplished during All Star Circuit of Champions competition, claiming $5,000 in the process.

In fact, Dietrich earned two All Star victories in 2020 with the first occurring at Monarch Motor Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas, on Friday, June 12. Although not accumulating points toward the Central PA championship, the Lone Star State win does bump Dietrich’s overall win count to 13 in 2020.

“It’s pretty tough to be disappointed about a 13-win season and another Central PA title, but I think we all wanted a little bit more. The guys bust their butts all year long. They deserved a few more marks in the win column,” Dietrich said. “I just want to thank all of my partners for sticking through the craziness that 2020 brought. It was a weird year, especially the beginning, but once the season started to finally get rolling, we were able to put a nice schedule together and race for a lot of big purses. I want to thank all of the fans, too. If it wasn’t for them, especially in 2020, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. They saved our season, and for that, I’m extremely thankful.”

News and notes pertaining to Danny Dietrich’s 2021 season will be posted in the coming weeks. Fans are encouraged to stay alert online, as well as on all of the available social media outlets.

Dates: Friday and Saturday, November 6th-7th
Event: World of Outlaws Last Call
Series: World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series
Track: The Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, North Carolina)
Donny Schatz A-Main Finishes (Start):

2020 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Championship Standings | FINAL: 7274 points | Third (70-points behind championship winner, Brad Sweet)

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (November 9, 2020) – The 2020 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series season is officially complete, and although Fargo, North Dakota’s Donny Schatz fell just short of attaining an eleventh Series championship, the driver of the Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing sprint car went on to finish third in the final title chase, ending the 54-race campaign just 70 points shy of the overall goal.

Schatz, driver of the Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing/Advance Professional/Carquest Auto Parts/Technet Professional Automotive Service/Ford Performance/Mobil 1/Sage Fruit/Curb Records/Absolute Automation & Security/Hunt Brothers Pizza/Digital Ally/J&J Auto Racing/No. 15 sprint car, concluded the 2020 WoO season with a two-day visit to The Dirt Track at Charlotte, just north of Charlotte, North Carolina, on Friday and Saturday, November 6-7. The season-ending Last Call featured back-to-back programs with each awarding a $12,000 top prize.

By the time the weekend dust settled, Schatz found himself with a pair of top-ten outcomes, kicking things off with an impressive rally from 12th to finish third on Friday. Schatz’ rally commenced right from the drop of the green, advancing five positions to seventh with only five laps in the books. Soon enough, Schatz powered ahead to create a four-car battle for the lead, this time racing head-to-head with David Gravel, Carson Macedo and Sheldon Haudenschild.

After working his way around Macedo to secure third with nine laps remaining, the new aim was on Haudenschild. Schatz was able to pressure the Wooster, Ohio-native and show him a nose with five laps to go, but Haudenschild persevered and powered ahead; Schatz was forced to settle for third.

Schatz illustrated another passing display during the Last Call finale on Saturday, eventually climbing ahead from ninth to secure sixth. Although unable to accomplish a weekend podium sweep, the result was Schatz’ 43rd top-ten finish of the 2020 WoO campaign.

Donny Schatz and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing will enter the off-season with five victories to their credit in 2020, two of which combining for a total winner’s share equaling $100,000; the $25,000 Silver Cup at Lernerville Speedway and the $75,000 National Open at Williams Grove Speedway.

In addition to being the largest paying event in Williams Grove history, the 2020 National Open was the season’s highest paying sprint car program in the United States.

Loss 12th in California Cup at Lemoore Raceway; Dixon’s Lonnie Kaiser Memorial to conclude The Boss’ 2020 season

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

LEMOORE, California (October 2, 2020) – An underdog by age comparison, Lodi, California’s “The Boss” JJ Loss may have been the youngest to enter Lemoore Raceway’s California Cup over Halloween weekend, but the 13-year-old Pennsylvania transplant was far from lacking speed, ultimately powering his Non-Wing 600cc micro sprint to a 12th-place performance against the best that the West Coast had to offer.

Loss, driver of the JKL Racing, The California Graphics Co., KPR, Competition Suspension Incorporated (CSI), Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Freedom Offroad, Bev & Norm Warner, ISC Racers Tape, Kaeding Performance, No. 67 micro, joined over 40 competitors for Lemoore’s $6,000-to-win California Cup, battling head-to-head with non-wing racers from all parts of California, Oregon, Washington, and even Arizona, Oklahoma and Texas. The three-day program, headlining action on October 29-31, featured three, full programs; two preliminary events on Thursday and Friday, followed by the finale on Saturday. Drivers accumulated points during preliminary competition which, in turn, determined the lineup for Saturday’s 40-lap showstopper.

Despite a tough start to his weekend, missing main event action during Thursday’s preliminary program, “The Boss” perfected a complete 180 and translated his tough start into a podium performance, completing Friday’s preliminary with a runner-up finish and ultimately locking himself into Saturday’s finale.

With all preliminary points considered, Loss started 13th on Saturday’s grid, eventually moving forward one position during the non-stop, 40-lap contest to finish 12th.

“That was a lot of fun. I can’t thank everyone enough for their support,” Loss said, a rookie in the 600cc non-wing ranks. “It has been a fun and successful year for our team and we owe all of that to our partners. I’m fortunate to have a lot of great people behind me, including my family. We are going to end our season next weekend at Dixon, so I’m excited to work toward a win to finish our year.”

JJ Loss and JKL Racing will conclude their 2020 season with a visit to Dixon Speedway in Dixon, California, on Friday and Saturday, November 6-7. Loss will enter two classes for the eighth running of the Lonnie Kaiser Memorial, joining the Stock 600 ranks, as well as the Non-Wing 600s. Certainly no stranger to the Central California bullring, Loss is the reigning Rookie of the Year at Dixon and concluded his championship chase seventh in the final standings.

JJ Loss and JKL Racing would like to thank all of their primary and product marketing partners including: The California Graphics Co., KPR, Competition Suspension Incorporated (CSI), Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Freedom Offroad, Bev & Norm Warner, ISC Racers Tape, and Kaeding Performance.

Zearfoss rallies for top-ten at BAPS; World of Outlaws Last Call ahead

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, Pa. (October 26, 2020) – Although not resulting in a victory, Brock Zearfoss’ trip to BAPS Motor Speedway on Saturday, October 24, concluded in impressive fashion, not only advancing from deep within his heat race to secure a place in the evening’s main event, but eventually rallying from deep within the feature field to secure a top-ten outcome. The “Jonestown Jet” now owns 43 top-ten finishes in 2020, 22 of which are inside the top-five.

Zearfoss, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., BAPS Auto Paints & Supply, Meckley’s Limestone Products, Berkebile Oil Company, Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car, kicked-off the evening at BAPS Motor Speedway with a jump from ninth to fourth during heat race action. Solidifying his place on the A-Main grid, Zearfoss then translated an eighth-row starting spot into an eighth-place result.

“I think we had the speed to climb a little further through the field, but starting where we did kinda put us in a little bit of a hole. Regardless, I’m proud of what we were able to accomplish. My team never gives up,” Brock Zearfoss said, who owns two victories in 2020 including one against the All Stars. “The season is closing up quickly, but we still have some things we want to achieve.”

Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2020 campaign with the two-day World of Outlaws Last Call at The Dirt Track at Charlotte on Friday and Saturday, November 6-7. The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series season finale will feature back-to-back $12,000-to-win programs.

Certainly no stranger to The Dirt Track at Charlotte, Zearfoss’ most recent trek to Charlotte, North Carolina, for the World of Outlaws season-ending program was highlighted with an 11th-place result on November 8, 2019, bettering most of the 53-car field.

Donny Schatz scores podium in exciting Kokomo main; Last Call to conclude WoO season

Date: Saturday, October 24th
Event: Fall Fling at Kokomo Speedway
Series: World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series
Track: Kokomo Speedway (Kokomo, Indiana)
Donny Schatz A-Main Finish (Start): 2nd (2nd)

2020 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Championship Standings: 6992 points | Third (64-points behind championship leader, Brad Sweet)

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (October 26, 2020) – Fargo, North Dakota’s Donny Schatz was well on his way to a sixth World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series victory on Saturday evening at Kokomo Speedway, but Wooster, Ohio-native and fellow Outlaw full-timer, Sheldon Haudenschild, swooped in and stole the spotlight, taking command from Schatz on lap 25 before driving off to secure the $10,000 payday. Despite being denied the top spot on the podium, Schatz was a prime contender the entire evening at the Kokomo bullring, eventually leading 16 laps of A-Main action after starting second on the grid.

Schatz took command of Kokomo’s main event on lap nine, utilizing traffic as a beneficial roadblock to sneak underneath race leader Haudenschild on the bottom of turns three and four. Suffice it to say, Haudenschild was able to return the favor on lap 25, using the same two corners to dive underneath Schatz and retake command.

“He was better than we were,” Schatz said about Haudenschild at Kokomo Speedway. “He made the top in (turns) one and two work. I wasn’t going to do it. He was up the fence and it just wasn’t me. I tried to make something else work and he got the best of us on that. That’s what got the win.”

Close on all fronts on Saturday night, Schatz, driver of the Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing/Advance Professional/Carquest Auto Parts/Technet Professional Automotive Service/Ford Performance/Mobil 1/Sage Fruit/Curb Records/Absolute Automation & Security/Hunt Brothers Pizza/Digital Ally/J&J Auto Racing/No. 15 sprint car, kicked-off the evening by recording the second-fastest time during his respective group of qualifying time trials, following that effort with a second-place finish during his respective heat race. A runner-up performance during dash action set-up Schatz’ front row starting position.

Donny Schatz and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing will conclude their 2020 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with the two-day World of Outlaws Last Call at The Dirt Track at Charlotte on Friday and Saturday, November 6-7. Schatz will enter the two-day season finale with 64 points separating himself from championship leader, Brad Sweet.

The ten-time World of Outlaws champion last visited The Dirt Track at Charlotte victory lane during the 2018 World Finals finale, conquering the $12,000-to-win 30-lapper from the outside of row five.
