Pittsburgh, PA (April 21st, 2014) – Danny Holtgraver will make his way back to ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ territory this Friday and Saturday, April 25th & 26th; taking part in the annual UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ spring time swing through Central Pennsylvania. ‘America’s Series’ will visit two (2) of Central Pennsylvania’s most recognized racing facilities; the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania. Holtgraver, who travels full-time with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions, will enter the upcoming two-race weekend currently fourth (4th) in the UNOH All Star ‘National’ standings, and fourth (4th) in the UNOH All Star ‘Eastern Region’ standings. The UNOH All Star events this weekend will accumulate points towards the ‘National’ standings and ‘Eastern Region’ standings.

“We are ready to go” said Danny Holtgraver, “We love going to Central Pennsylvania…it’s some of the toughest competition in the country and having the opportunity to race against those guys is really motivating…this Hunter Racing team has been clicking really well lately…we can’t wait to get out there and see what we can do.”

Holtgraver, who pilots the Hunter Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, WestView Motors, DKW Transport, no. 10H ‘410’ sprint car, will kick-off his upcoming weekend with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The UNOH All Stars and ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ will do battle for a $5,000 top prize on Friday night, April 25th. Danny Holtgraver will race wing-to-wing with Central Pennsylvania’s finest on Friday at ‘The Grove;’ including current track point leader, Stevie Smith. The pilot of the Hunter Racing ‘10H’ has never won a main event at the Williams Grove Speedway, but looks forward to the opportunity to do so this weekend.

“Williams Grove is a tough place…it’s really unique and the car quality is incredible” explained Holtgraver, “Every time we go there we learn something new…hopefully we can use our notes on Friday and  get the ‘10H’ up front.”

The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will visit the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, April 26th. The event on tap at the Juniata Fairgrounds half-mile is the annual ‘Bob Weikert Memorial’ worth $10,000 to the winner. The ‘Bob Weikert Memorial’ boasts a $34,000 purse; making it one of the richest events on the 2014 UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ tour. Holtgraver has a runner-up finish to his credit at the Port Royal Speedway, which took place during the 2012 edition of the ‘Bob Weikert Memorial.’ The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native will attempt to improve that finish by one position this Saturday night.

“We’ve had some recent luck during the ‘Weikert Memorial’ so hopefully we can keep that rolling” said Holtgraver, “We had a really good run at this race back in 2012…I’ve always really liked Port Royal Speedway…it’s a big track that requires a lot of momentum and that fits my driving style…hopefully we can get the ball rolling right from the start on Saturday and earn our first win there!”

During recent ‘410’ sprint car competition, Danny Holtgraver and Hunter Racing swept action in Western Pennsylvania; earning victories at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania; and at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Holtgraver, who earned a Lernerville track title back in 2010, found victory lane during Lernerville Speedway’s ‘Fab Four’ opening night on Friday, April 18th. The signature ‘Fab Four’ program featured all four of Lernerville’s weekly divisions including the ‘410’ sprint cars.

Holtgraver’s victory at Mercer Raceway Park occurred on Saturday evening, April 19th during ‘Bonnell’s Rod Shop Night.’ The victory was worth $4,000 and now gives Danny Holtgraver six-straight victories at the 3/8’s mile oval, which includes two (2) UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ victories in 2013. Holtgraver now has two-total victories during his 2014 campaign.

“Last weekend was unreal…It was a total team effort and I can’t thank them enough” said Holtgraver, “This entire Hunter Racing operation has been great to work with…everyone works hard and clicks really well together…I really can’t thank Rob Hunter enough…it’s been a great season so far…hopefully I can keep winning and return the favor!”
