‘AK87’ Scores Two Top-Ten Finishes Last Friday at ‘The Grove’

Denver, PA (September 17th, 2014) – 2014 Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ driver champion Alan Krimes will pick up right where he left off last Friday night with another visit to the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania this Friday evening, September 19th. Krimes, who will enter competition at ‘The Grove’ currently fourth in the driver championship chase, will use the next handful of Williams Grove Speedway point races to his hopeful advantage, and move higher in the championship chase. The Denver, Pennsylvania native trails Lance Dewease, who is third in the current standings, by 60 markers; while also trailing current point leader Don Kreitz Jr. by 610 markers. This Friday’s program at Williams Grove Speedway will feature a regular program for the ‘410’ sprinters, with the ‘358’ sprints also on the evening card.
After his Williams Grove Speedway visit on Friday night, Alan Krimes, who pilots the Midnite Antiques, Conestoga Valley Garage, Wayne Corini, Krimes Racing Engines, VRP Shocks, ‘Super 87’ sprint car, will return to action on Saturday evening, September 20th at the Lincoln Speedway near Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The ‘Hank Gentzler Memorial/Manufacturers Appreciation Race’ will be on tap on the Pigeon Hills oval on Saturday night. Krimes has two feature victories at the Lincoln Speedway in 2014, and will search for ‘W’ number three this Saturday night. This will be Krimes’ last attempt to ‘test and tune’ at the Fabulous Lincoln Speedway before the $20,000-to-win ‘Dirt Classic presented by Kasey Kahne’ takes center stage on Saturday, September 27th.
