CHAPTER COMPLETE: DLR concludes POWRi campaign with back-to-back top-tens; Down Under trip and Chili Bowl ahead

ODESSA, Mo. (November 10, 2025) – The 2025 POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League campaign is officially complete, and for Xavier Doney, Natalie Doney, Doney-Lawson Racing (DLR), and the Schnee-Lawson Chassis House Cars, it’s another chapter in the team’s history book, concluding their efforts with the Deuces Wild Championship Weekend at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track on Friday and Saturday, November 7-8.
When the dust finally settled in the Lone Star State, DLR found themselves with back-to-back A-Main starts and back-to-back top-tens, each of which accomplished by Xavier Doney. Doney raced on to finish eighth and sixth, respectively, the products of forward progress. In fact, Doney advanced a total of nine feature positions over the weekend, seven on Friday with the aforementioned eighth-place finish coming from row eight. Xavier Doney concluded the 2025 POWRi championship in the third position, padded by a pair of victories and 19 top-tens in 24 A-Main appearances.
Although Natalie Doney, Xavier’s younger sister and teammate, was unable to qualify for main event competition in her two-day visit to Texas Motor Speedway, her efforts were sound and respectable, eventually concluding the year 12th in POWRi’s overall championship with one top-ten to her credit.
As noted before, Xavier Doney is pleased to announce that, not only will be he entering the 2026 Chili Bowl Nationals with three-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion, Sammy Swindell, as a teammate, but in addition, the recently turned 20-year-old is heading Down Under, set to make an appearance at the Perth Motorplex in High Limit Racing’s international program on December 28-30. The richest event in Australia history will award $110,000-to-win.
