Chase Dietz Back in the Top-Ten at Lincoln,
Dirt Classic Showcase On Tap

YORK, Pa. (June 6, 2016) – For the third time in 2016, Chase Dietz drove to a top-ten finish at Lincoln Speedway. The third generation racer climbed from 13th on the starting grid on Saturday, June 4, and raced to a tenth place performance. Dietz battled just inside the top-ten during the entire 25-lap distance, but lost brakes near the conclusion.
“We had a good weekend,” explained Chase Dietz, pilot of the Haas Shocks, Godfrey Racing Engines, Embee & Sons, Gardy Enterprises, Mark’s Automotive, Pancho’s Race Products, Keizer Wheels, Beer Hill Gang, No. 2D. “I think we were better than where we finished, but we lost brakes near the end which forced us to stick to the top of the track and not commit to pass. We were proud of our efforts and can’t wait to get back to Lincoln.”
If all goes according to plan, the 2015 North American 410 Sprint Car Rookie of the Year will return to competition this Saturday night, June 11, back at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The Dirt Classic Showcase will be the headline attraction, awarding a $7,000 grand prize.
“Our plan is to be at Lincoln this Saturday, but we have to make sure we are prepared,” said Chase Dietz. “We’ve been taking our schedule one race at a time. We’re excited to be there!”
