Chase Dietz Eager to Begin 2015 Campaign!
Busy Schedule Includes ‘358’ and ‘410’ Competition
By Fully Injected Motorsports
York, PA (February 3rd, 2015) – After a handful of rather successful seasons competing in the ‘358’ sprint car ranks, central Pennsylvania’s Chase Dietz will finally make the inevitable leap into ‘410’ competition nearly full-time in 2015, while still making occasional visits behind the wheel of a ‘358’ sprint car. Dietz, the 2014 Lincoln Speedway ‘358’ sprint car track champion, will pilot for two different car owners in 2015, and focus most of his upcoming schedule on competition at the Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway. Chase Dietz will pilot the Scott Gobrecht owned ‘410’ sprinter (#44) in 2015 during a vast majority of the Lincoln Speedway schedule. The York, Pennsylvania native will also pilot the Troy and Tammy Godfrey owned ‘358’ sprint car (#5) at all of the Williams Grove Speedway ‘358’ and ‘358/360’ challenge races during the upcoming season.
“I’m so pumped for this racing season” explained Chase Dietz, “Scott Gobrecht is giving me a great opportunity and I’m very grateful for that…I am looking forward to getting a lot of laps under my belt in the ‘410’ and improving each week…my goal has always been to get to the ‘410’ division…now I need to capitalize on this opportunity and have some fun….I am also looking forward to running all of the Williams Grove Speedway ‘358’ and ‘360’ shows for Troy Godfrey in his Godfrey Racing Engines car….I need to get some more experience at Williams Grove and this limited schedule works for Troy and his family.”
Chase Dietz will enter his 2015 central Pennsylvania campaign with a heavy dose of positive momentum. The 2014 Lincoln Speedway ‘358’ Track Champion earned three victories in the Pigeon Hills during his championship season; also earning 12 top-five and 15 top-ten finishes throughout his Lincoln Speedway campaign. Dietz finished fourth in the final ‘Central Pennsylvania ‘358’ Point Series’ championship standings in 2014; on the strength of five victories throughout the Keystone State. The transition into full-time ‘410’ racing from the ‘358’ ranks is a common trend in central Pennsylvania, with Chase Dietz being the newest pilot to test the competitive waters.
“Since I was seven-years-old, people have been helping me pursue my dream of racing and I’m very fortunate to have been given these two opportunities for 2015” said Dietz, “ We are going to focus on learning a lot this year and having some fun while we build our teams…Tammy Godfrey (Troy’s wife) is very passionate about giving back to the community…she and Troy have committed to donate 10% of the car earnings each week to a non profit organization of choice…I am looking for sponsors who will match these donations throughout the year in order to give back even more to our local non profit organizations… I think it will be awesome to be able to give back to local organizations…I am looking forward to raising a lot of money for local non profit organizations.”
Chase Dietz and Scott Gobrecht will launch their 2015 campaign during the ‘Icebreaker 30’ at the Lincoln Speedway near Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, February 21st. The annual afternoon program will feature a 30-lap main event for the ‘410’ sprinters; awarding $4,000 to the winner. Dietz and Godfrey is tentatively scheduled to begin their 2015 Williams Grove Speedway ‘358’ campaign on Friday, April 10th.
