Chase Dietz Earns Second ‘358’ Victory of 2015
Godfrey Team Donates $1,300 towards National Open Benefit

York, PA (July 13th, 2015) – Chase Dietz earned his second ‘358’ sprint car victory of the 2015 season on Friday evening, July 10th; once again conquering featuring competition at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Dietz, driver of the Troy Godfrey owned, Godfrey Racing Engines, no. 5 ‘358’ sprinter, now has two ‘358’ victories in 2015 at Williams Grove Speedway. In addition, as result of his victory, Chase Dietz and the Godfrey team donated $1,300 towards the National Open Benefit which is set to take shape later this year. Dietz started 10th during the ‘358’ main event on July 10th.

“We’re really starting to hit our marks and that is beginning to show” said Chase Dietz, “We were really good on Friday. Troy Godfrey gave me a great car right out of the box and that makes my job even easier. We were excited to donate towards the National Open Benefit. It’s a great cause and we are thrilled to be a part of it.”

Chase Dietz will return to the driver seat of the Godfrey Racing Engines no. 5 this Friday night, July 17th back at the Williams Grove Speedway.

During recent ‘410’ sprint car competition, Chase Dietz recorded a top-ten performance at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday night, July 11th. The central Pennsylvania ‘410’ sprint car rookie finished ninth officially in the Pigeon Hills on Saturday evening; earning the top-ten performance after starting fifth during the $5,000-to-win ‘National Fallen Firefighters Night: Brandon Little Memorial.’  Dietz, driver of the Scott Gobrecht owned, Golf Cart Services, Bad Boy Buggies, ServiceMaster Clean Janitorial Service of York and Lancaster, Gettysburg Rental Company, no. 44 ‘410’ sprint car, will return to competition this Saturday and Sunday, July 18th & 19th for a pair of events back in central Pennsylvania. The plan is to return to Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, July 18th, all before entering action at Susquehanna Speedway Park near York Haven on Sunday, July 19th.

“We are proud of ourselves” said Chase Dietz, “We weren’t too good in the early stages of the race on Saturday but still managed to finish ninth. That is a very solid finish for us and we were happy. We have a few adjustments to make and I think that will put us right where we need to be. I just want to thank Scott Gobrecht for the opportunity. That first win is coming soon. The first one is always the hardest to get so we’ll keep digging until it happens.”
