Chase Dietz Set to Continue ‘410’ Season Saturday at Lincoln Speedway
Still Hunting for First Career Win in ‘410’ Sprint Car
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
York, PA (July 29th, 2015) – After spending the most recent weekend off to regroup, Chase Dietz is set to continue his 2015 season on Saturday night, August 1st, back at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Dietz will return to the cockpit of the Scott Gobrecht owned, Golf Cart Services, Bad Boy Buggies, ServiceMaster Clean Janitorial Service of York and Lancaster, Gettysburg Rental Company, #44 this Saturday night with hopes of earning a career-first “410” victory. The division rookie has been a Saturday night regular at the Pigeon Hills facility and currently sits 15th in the track championship standings. The recent high school graduate has two top-ten finishes at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway in 2015. The Gobrecht “44” team finished a season-high third at Susquehanna Speedway Park just a few weeks back.
“Excited to get back to Lincoln” said Dietz, “We have what it takes to get around that place. Experience plays a big part and unfortunately, I still lack that part. We’ll keep working hard and try to get that first win. I just want to thank Scott Gobrecht for the opportunity. He’s a great car owner that has been very supportive this entire season. I owe him a win soon.”
Despite plans to enter the Lelands.com URC 358/360 Sprint Nationals on Friday at Williams Grove Speedway, “358” car owner Troy Godfrey has since decided to abort those plans and instead, prepare for upcoming action during the month of August.
“We wanted to race this Friday but things didn’t work out as planned” said Dietz, “Troy (Godfrey) decided instead to take the weekend off and just get ready for our August plans. We’ve been pretty good this year…racking up a few wins and top-three finishes lately. We do a pretty good job conserving our equipment so we’ll save the laps and get ready for more ‘358’ shows in the future.”
