South Park, PA (April 1st, 2014) – Jared Miley will attempt to launch his 2014 campaign once again this Saturday evening, April 5th at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. The annual ‘Chiller Thriller’ will make it’s second attempt at being completed in 2014 after being postponed one week (March 28th) due to inclement weather conditions. The National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) Northeast Late Models will be on hand at the Mercer 3/8’s mile dirt oval; promising an ultra-competitive field of local and regional race teams. This Saturday’s ‘Chiller Thriller’ program will feature a $3,000-to-win main event for the NDRL Northeast Late Models.
Miley, a former Lernerville Speedway and Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway super late model track champion, will make the trek north from his Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania race shop to the Mercer oval this Saturday in search of a ‘Chiller Thriller’ title. The South Park, Pennsylvania native has never earned a victory at Mercer Raceway Park, but looks to kick-off his new season with a ‘W’ and end his ‘MRP’ cold spell. Jared Miley was a six-time winner during super late model competition in 2013; earning three at the Lernerville Speedway (PA) and three at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (PA).
