‘Chiller Thriller’ Up First for Jared Miley Racing
Miley Earns 2014 Cavalcade Points Championship

Pittsburgh, PA (March 16th, 2015) – After a rather successful 2014 campaign, which saw Jared Miley earn nine super late model victories in Pennsylvania and New York, ‘The Jet’ will launch his new season with the intent to duplicate, or surpass, his recent winning total. Jared Miley, who pilots the Jared Miley Racing, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Brougher’s Machine Shop, Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, Schaeffer’s Racing Oil, Sunoco Race Fuels, Rocket Chassis, no. H1 super late model, will kick-off his 2015 season at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania; joining the ULMS Racing Series for their season opener on March 28th. The ‘Chiller Thriller’ at ‘MRP’ will award $3,000 to the main event winner. Miley finished 9th during the 2014 edition; Gregg Satterlee is the defending champion.
“I think we are ready to go” said Matt Miley; Jared Miley’s brother and team crew chief, “We still have some things we need to finish up, but for the most part we are ready to go…we’ll probably do something similar as last year…Lernerville will probably be a regular stop for us if we are not on the road…it’s close to us and accommodates our work schedules…we’ll hit and miss as many regional shows as possible like last year, too…not a lot has changed; pretty much business as usual.”
Jared Miley was a guest at the annual Lernerville Speedway banquet on Saturday, March 14th. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native was awarded the super late model Cavalcade Points championship for 2014. Cavalcade points are tallied over the course of an entire season, and can only be earned at western Pennsylvania tracks and some neighboring facilities (such as Raceway 7 (OH) and Sharon Speedway (OH)). Drivers earn points by finishing inside the top three positions of select feature programs.
