Fremont, Ohio (June 16th, 2014) – For the first time in 2014, the Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service will see a new championship point leader. Chris Andrews, who entered the recent weekend third (3rd) in the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series rankings, nearly swept F.A.S.T. action during the recent weekend; allowing the Sandusky, Ohio native to take sole command of the $10,000-to-win F.A.S.T. ‘410’ championship standings. Defending F.A.S.T. champion Craig Mintz entered the weekend as the current point leader, but would surrender the top spot soon thereafter. The Gibsonburg, Ohio native suffered from a ‘DNF’ on Friday night at Attica Raceway Park due to being involved in a multi-car incident. The recent F.A.S.T. main event winner then failed to enter competition on Saturday night at Fremont Speedway due to complications from Friday night’s incident. Mintz now finds himself fifth (5th) in the 2014 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series hunt.

The JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro would have similar fate during the recent weekend; welcoming a new championship point leader by weekend’s end. Steve Rando, who entered the recent weekend second (2nd) in the F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series standings, would take command of the $2,000-to-win championship with a pair of top-five finishes on June 13th and 14th. John Ivy, who led the F.A.S.T. ‘305’ standings entering the recent weekend, now finds himself second; trailing Rando by seven (7) markers.

The Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service hosted two (2) events during the recent weekend. The series made their usual Friday night visit to the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Friday night, June 13th; all before capping off their double-header weekend with a Saturday night visit to the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on June 14th. Chris Andrews, the new F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series point leader, earned his first F.A.S.T. victory of the 2014 season on Friday night at the Attica bullring; passing Byron Reed on the final turn of the final circuit to earn the main event win. Reed would hold on for second; followed by Caleb Griffith, Duane Zablocki and Danny Smith.

Brian Lay, who is now the first repeat winner of 2014, picked up his second F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series victory of the 2014 season on Saturday night at Fremont Speedway. Lay, who is now fourth (4th) in the current Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service standings, earned both of his 2014 F.A.S.T. wins at the Fremont oval. Chris Andrews finished second on Saturday night at Fremont; after leading most of the 30-lap/$2,500-to-win main event. Brian Smith, Brandon Wimmer and Rob Chaney would round out your main event top-five.

The JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro also hosted a pair of events during the recent weekend; following the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series to Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway on June 13th & 14th. It was Alvin Roepke in victory lane on Friday night at the Attica bullring; passing Tyler Gunn on the final turn of the final circuit to secure his spot on the F.A.S.T. win list. Roepke is currently sixth (6th) in the JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro standings.

Bobby Clark would earn his first F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series victory of the 2014 season on Saturday evening, June 14th at Fremont Speedway. Clark, one of twenty-one F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series members, now finds himself ninth (9th) in the updated championship standings.
