Chris Andrews earns F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series Night #10 Victory at Attica Raceway Park

Attica, Ohio (July 4th, 2014) – Twenty-six (26) Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service ‘410’ sprinters were signed-in on Friday evening, July 4th at Attica Raceway Park. The 26 cars were split into three (3) qualifying groups. Caleb Griffith recorded the fastest time during heat race #1 group qualifying with a time of 12.636 seconds. Brian Lay, the most recent F.A.S.T. feature winner entering tonight’s action, recorded the fastest qualifying time during heat race #2 group qualifying. Lay’s official time was 12.684 seconds. Chris Andrews, who had the fastest time of the night overall at Attica Raceway Park, recorded the quickest qualifying time during heat race #3 group qualifying; 12.521 seconds being the official time. Caleb Helms, Cole Duncan and Travis Philo each earned F.A.S.T. heat race victories. Caleb Griffith picked up the evening’s F.A.S.T. consolation B-main win; Stuart Williams, Cale Thomas, Todd Heller and Taylor Ferns also earned A-main starting positions through the B-main.
Chris Andrews earned his second Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service main event win of the 2014 season on Friday night at Attica Raceway Park. Andrews, who now owns back-to-back F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series victories at Attica this season, held off early leader, Brian Lay, and full-time UNOH All Star competitor, Caleb Helms, for the win. Former F.A.S.T. champion, Byron Reed, finished fourth; with Bryan Sebetto rounding out the top five.

The Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service last hit the racing surface back on Friday and Saturday, June 13th & 14th (Night #8 & Night #9 of 2014 schedule); hosting events at the Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway. Chris Andrews, the current F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series point leader, was the F.A.S.T. main event winner at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio back on Friday evening, June 13th. Brian Lay, the only repeat F.A.S.T. winner thus far in 2014 entering the current weekend, earned the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series victory at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio back on Saturday, June 14th. Both of Lay’s F.A.S.T. victories in 2014 took place at Fremont Speedway.
Looking Ahead:
The action-packed holiday weekend continues for the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series on Saturday evening, July 5th at Fremont Speedway. The 2014 Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service will then take a weekend off before returning to action on Friday and Saturday, July 18th & 19th; once again sanctioning Friday and Saturday night events at the Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway. The F.A.S.T. ‘410’ sprinters will visit Attica Raceway Park on Friday evening, July 18th for a $3,000 pay day; all before paying a visit to the Fremont Speedway on Saturday, July 19th. The July 18th/19th weekend will go in the books as Night’s #12 and #13 of the 2014 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series schedule.
