CARLISLE, Pa. (August 5, 2022) – World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Rookie of the Year contenders, CJB Motorsports and Spencer Bayston, will roll into the historic Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, with not only the desire to win, but with an all-new look, boasting TrueTimber’s ever-popular Strata camo pattern, which will make its official debut when the Carlisle, Pennsylvania-based motorsports operation competes in their respective Knoxville Nationals qualifying program on Thursday, August 11.

The coveted Knoxville Nationals, awarding a total purse pushing the brink of one million dollars including a top prize equaling $175,000 in the weekend finale, will take over Knoxville Raceway headlines on Wednesday through Saturday, August 10-13. Over 100 of the world’s greatest sprint car drivers will compete in the 61st running of the prestigious program, all of whom chasing one of 24 spots in Saturday’s 50-lap A-Main.

“Everyone here at CJB Motorsports are excited to reveal the second in a series of special paint schemes for our iconic partner TrueTimber Camo,” Chad Clemens, owner of CJB Motorsports, expressed. “CJB Motorsports has a rich history at the Knoxville Nationals with not only great performances, but exciting paint schemes. With our entire team being outdoorsmen and avid hunters, we could not be prouder to promote the best retailing camo brand on our cars.”

The decision to feature TrueTimber’s Strata camo pattern coincides with the approaching fall hunting seasons, as Strata is featured on an array of hunting apparel including gloves, pants, and outerwear.

“We really love the look of the new car design, and we can’t wait to see it unveiled in front of all the fans in Knoxville,” said TrueTimber CEO Rusty Sellars. “Spencer quickly got us on the board in the World of Outlaws with his win at Huset’s during the car’s initial debut and it’s been exciting to see his success and momentum grow in the series. As we shift our focus from fishing to hunting, it only made sense to update the car with our most popular hunting camo pattern.”

As noted, Bayston’s initial TrueTimber debut was in winning fashion, scoring a $10,000 payday at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota, on Wednesday, June 22; the Lebanon, Indiana, native went on to finish 14th in the weekend’s $100,000-to-win Huset’s High Bank Nationals finale.

Spencer Bayston and CJB Motorsports will continue their 2022 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with the annual Ironman 55 at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri, on Friday and Saturday, August 5-6.
