Allison Park, PA (October 8, 2015) – For the first time in his young career, Colton Flinner will join the greatest super late model drivers in the country on a journey to southern Ohio’s Portsmouth Raceway Park to take part in the 35th annual Optima Batteries Dirt Track World Championship. Flinner, pilot of the All American Framers, VOX Energy, A.W. Beattie Career Center, Bellisarios Lounge, Randig Towing, Paradise Vending, #75, will spend two days in Portsmouth, Ohio, for DTWC competition, attempting to qualify for one of nation’s longest running and prestigious dirt late model events.

“We are going to try our best” said Colton Flinner about his chances to qualify for the DTWC main event, “It will be a real test for us. We know what we are up against, but it’s exciting to say that we will be a part of it. Making the race would be a huge accomplishment – the biggest of my career so far. We’ll work as hard as we can and try to make something happen. Anything can happen, really. Either way, it will be a fun weekend…a great chance for us to learn more about our program and how to race against the best.”

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series program will officially ignite on Friday evening, October 16, with two rounds of heat race action for all super late model competitors. All consolation events, and the 100-lap, $100,000-to-win, Dirt Track World Championship main event, will be contested on Saturday, October 17. Non-qualifiers for the 100-lap program will have an opportunity to race in the DirtOnDirt.com Jim Dunn Memorial worth $3,000, also on Saturday night.

“I just want to thank everyone who makes this happen. I would also like to send out a special ‘thanks’ to MS Shock Therapy and the Bentz Family” said Flinner, “We have a lot of dedicated and loyal sponsors who help make all of our racing plans possible. Hopefully we can make them proud and earn a spot in the big show on Saturday night.”
