Pittsburgh, PA (July 6th, 2014) – Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (P.P.M.S.) welcomed Colton Flinner back to victory lane on Saturday night, July 5th; honoring the Allison Park native with his first victory of the 2014 season. Flinner, who does ‘double-duty’ on many occasions at ‘P.P.M.S.’ in a super late model and three-quarter late model, earned the three-quarter late model main event win on Saturday night at the big half-mile near Imperial; ending his 2014 dry spell. The three-quarter scale late models are an occasional attraction at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half-Mile,’ with Flinner a regular in that division when it is featured. Flinner now has wins at ‘P.P.M.S.’ in two different late model divisions; being a former two-time crate late model track champion at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, and a former crate late model main event winner.

“It feels good to get a win…’P.P.M.S.’ has always been pretty good to us” said Colton Flinner, “Even though we focus most of our time on the super late model stuff, it’s nice to race the three-quarter late model when they are featured at the track…they are a lot of fun to drive…hopefully we can win in both divisions next time!”

Colton Flinner, who pilots the American Framers, VOX Energy, A.W. Beattie Career Center, Bellisarios Lounge, Randig Towing, Clean Impression by Michelle, Wrap It, Crow Design, Craiger Race Engines, no. 75 super late model full-time in 2014, will be back in action at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway this Saturday evening, July 12th for another round of ‘weekly’ action. Flinner will only compete with the ‘supers’ this Saturday night.

During Flinner’s most recent start in a super late model, the western Pennsylvania youngster scored a top-ten finish at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Saturday evening, July 5th. Flinner finished sixth (6th) officially on Saturday; scoring the top-ten finish on the same night as his three-quarter scale late model victory. Alex Ferree would take home the super late model top honors on July 5th.

On a special note, Colton Flinner will be featured on Don Gamble’s “Rappin’ On Racin’” racing talk show this Monday evening, July 7th at approximately 7:30PM. The show can be heard every Monday from 6:00PM to 9:00PM on their website: www.speedwayproductions.biz. All of the shows are also archived; which are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
