Allison Park, PA (April 23rd, 2013) – Full-time ‘FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Touring Division’ competitor, Colton Flinner, will have an opportunity to win two crate late model main events this weekend in two different states. The Allison Park, Pennsylvania native will make appearances in Georgia and Pennsylvania this Friday and Saturday, April 26th & 27th; using time off from his ‘FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Touring Division’ schedule to hit and miss local, and regional, crate late model events. Flinner will kick off his upcoming weekend with a venture south this Friday, April 26th, to the Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, Georgia for a FASTRAK Pro Late Model ‘weekly’ event. Flinner, and his American Framers, Vox Energy, A.W. Beattie Career Center, no. 75 crate late model team, will round out the upcoming weekend with a familiar stop at the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial, Pennsylvania on Saturday afternoon, April 27th. ‘PPMS’ will be hosting one of it’s many RUSH Late Model ‘weekly’ specials on Saturday afternoon; giving Flinner an excellent reason to return to the ‘Keystone State’ on Saturday. Colton Flinner is very familiar with both facilities that he will be visiting this weekend, and hopes to use his vast knowledge and experience to help him record his first victory of the 2013 season.

Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, Georgia is up first for Colton Flinner during the upcoming weekend. Although the Friday night, April 26th program is far from being a ‘marquee FASTRAK event,’ the trip south will hopefully serve to be very beneficial. Colton Flinner will use this Friday’s ‘weekly’ FASTRAK Pro Late Model event at Lavonia Speedway to help better prepare himself for when he returns to the Georgia dirt oval next Friday, May 3rd, for a $2,000-to-win FASTRAK ‘regional’ program. Colton Flinner is certainly no stranger to frequent trips to areas south of the mason-dixon line; as the former crate late model winner made several trips south earlier this season. Race fans can get more information regarding Lavonia’s upcoming schedule, ticket prices and gate times; all at Lavonia Speedway’s official Facebook page.

When action at Lavonia Speedway comes to a close on Friday evening, Colton Flinner, and the entire American Framers ‘75’ team, will pack up and head back north for a planned appearance at the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 27th. The first round of the RUSH Late Models’ ‘Summer Sizzler’ will be held on Saturday afternoon at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half Mile.’ The 2:00PM program will feature all of the facility’s weekly divisions; including the crate powered RUSH Late Models. The ‘Summer Sizzler’ crate late model main event will be 25-laps in distance, and will pay $1,000 to the winner. Colton Flinner is not only a former Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway winner, but he is also a former two-time crate late model track champion. For more information on this event, please check out Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway online at www.ppms.com.
