Allison Park, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected crate late model standout, Colton Flinner, finds himself closer and closer to the top spot of the Brougher’s Machine Shop FASTRAK/Pro Late Model Standings at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. The defending FASTRAK/Pro Late track champion at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half Mile’ finished inside the top five during his most recent start at the Pittsburgh facility; crossing the start/finish line 4th in the running order at the end of the Pro Late Model main event last Saturday night. With consistency on his side during his most recent starts at the famed oval, Flinner has worked his way up to being a mere 17 points behind Kyle Lukon for the top spot in the PPMS standings.
Colton Flinner’s results, past and present, has gained him national attention. The Western PA crate late model hotshoe was recently featured in an article published in Dirt Late Model Magazine.
With a busy portion of the PPMS schedule approaching, Flinner will have plenty of opportunities to overtake to the top spot in the track standings. Six more ‘Sizzler Series’ events are also on the Pittsburgh schedule; offering a $1,000 pay day for the FASTRAK/Pro Late Model winner at each event. This Saturday, June 2nd, the FASTRAK/Pro Late Models will return for a regular ‘Action Event’ at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway.
