Colton Flinner in action at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway earlier this season!
After an impressive rebound Saturday evening during the FASTRAK/Pro Late Model feature at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, Colton Flinner can say first hand that he is ready for the first round of the Sizzler Series this Saturday, May 12th! The Allison Park, Pennsylvania native charged from 23rd to 5th Saturday evening at Pittsburgh’s ‘Monster Half Mile!’ Although the performance was more than impressive, it was not what Flinner had planned. The former PPMS Pro Late Model track champion cut a tire during his respective main event Saturday night, forcing the familiar black ’75’ crate late model to go to the tail of the field. Flinner passed 18 cars during the remainder of the Pro Late Model feature to secure a top 5 finish!
This Saturday night, May 12th, Flinner will return to Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway for round #1 of the Pro Late Sizzler Series worth $1,000! The 25 lap – $1,000-to-win event this weekend for the crate late models is just 1 of 7 Sizzler Series events this summer at the Imperial, PA venue!
