Flinner Will Compete in All Three Late Model Divisions at Pittsburgh on Saturday

Allison Park, PA (July 18th, 2014) – Western Pennsylvania rising star, Colton Flinner, will head into action this Saturday night, July 19th at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (P.P.M.S.) prepared to do ‘triple-duty.’ Flinner, who pilots the American Framers, VOX Energy, A.W. Beattie Career Center, Bellisarios Lounge, Randig Towing, Clean Impression by Michelle, Wrap It, Crow Design, Craiger Race Engines, no. 75 super late model full-time in 2014, will compete not only in the super late model class on Saturday evening at ‘P.P.M.S.,’ but will also field a crate late model and three-quarter scale late model during the evening program. The former two-time crate late model track champion at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half Mile’ has plenty of laps around the big oval near Imperial, Pennsylvania, and will attempt to ‘sweep’ all three (3) divisions on July 19th.
The July 19th program at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway will be highlighted with the 2nd Annual Herb Scott Memorial for the Diehl super late models; going thirty (30) laps in distance and awarding $3,000 to the main event winner. The weekly RUSH crate late models will also be featured on the Saturday night card; as well as an appearance by the three-quarter scale late models. Flinner will be entered in all three (3) divisions; searching for his second victory of the 2014 season. The Allison Park native’s lone victory of 2014 thus far took shape at ‘P.P.M.S.’ during three-quarter scale late model action; back on Saturday evening, July 5th.
Colton Flinner will enter the Herb Scott Memorial program currently fourth (4th) in the super late model track championship standings at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. The recent crate late model graduate has called ‘P.P.M.S.’ home for much of his 2014 campaign, and continues to hunt down a career-first super late model track championship at the speedway.
