Colton Flinner Will Visit Eldora Speedway for ‘Johnny Appleseed Classic’
Memorial Day Weekend Special Takes Place Sunday, May 24th

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Allison Park, PA (May 23rd, 2015) – After making a career-first visit to the Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Virginia last Saturday, May 16th, super late model sophomore Colton Flinner will now prepare for a trip west to the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The Allison Park, Pennsylvania native, who is participating in his second full season in the super late model ranks, will venture west to ‘The Big E’ tomorrow – Sunday, May 24th – for the annual ‘Johnny Appleseed Classic.’ The Sunoco American Late Model Series sanctioned event will pay $2,000 to the winner. Flinner has competed at the Eldora Speedway in recent seasons, but never behind the wheel of a super late model.

“Super excited to get back to Eldora Speedway” said Colton Flinner, “I’ve raced there before with our crate car but never in a super late model…everything about Eldora Speedway is incredible and to be a part of that history is really special…someday we want to enter big races such as The Dream and The World 100…getting some experience there will help us achieve that goal…I just want to thank my Dad and this entire team…we have a lot of loyal sponsors that make trips like this possible…hopefully we can gain a lot of experience this weekend and use that for future visits.”

During recent super late model competition, Colton Flinner visited the Virginia Motor Speedway near Jamaica, Virginia; joining the Ultimate Super Late Models for the $10,000-to-win ‘USA 100.’ Flinner, driver of the American Framers, VOX Energy, A.W. Beattie Career Center, Bellisarios Lounge, Randig Towing, Clean Impression by Michelle, no. 75 super late model, rallied from 26th to 12th during the main event.

“We struggled during qualifying at Virginia but got everything figured out before the main event” said Flinner, “Virginia Motor Speedway is a top-notch facility…hopefully we can go back there in the future.”
