CONSISTENCY CONTINUES: Dietrich highlights recent agenda with podium at BAPS

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (April 28, 2025) – It was intended to be a three-race weekend for Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing, but after Mother Nature’s invasion of Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, Dietrich’s agenda shrunk to two, visiting Port Royal Speedway and BAPS Motor Speedway in consecutive fashion on Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27.
When the dust finally settled, Dietrich, ace of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Speedway Volkswagen & Subaru, Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, RV 4 Wheel Drive & Performance, No. 48 sprint car, found himself with back-to-back top-tens, each the result of major forward progress. The Gettysburg native climbed from 18th to ninth in Port Royal Speedway’s Keith Kauffman Classic, racing on to climb from 14th to third in BAPS Motor Speedway’s Sunday night showcase the following evening.
Dietrich’s stat sheet found a boost after his weekend’s results, now with 14 top-ten appearances, 12 of which within the top-five including a trio of victories.
“There’s a lot to be ready for and I think we’re there,” Dietrich said. “Starting deep gives you the opportunity to be patient and ultimately pass cars and that’s what we did. We’ll get things situated this weekend and be ready for when the Outlaws come to town the following week.”

Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2025 campaign with visits to Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway or Lincoln Speedway on Friday and Saturday, May 2-3.

Finished second in Lincoln Speedway’s annual Ice Breaker 30 on Sunday, February 23. Earned first victory of the season at Lincoln Speedway on Sunday, March 9. Finished third at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, March 15. Earned back-to-back top-fives in starts at Port Royal Speedway (4th) and BAPS Motor Speedway (1st) on Friday and Saturday, March 29-30. Earned victory at BAPS Motor Speedway on Sunday, April 13. Earned three consecutive top-fives in starts at Williams Grove (Double Features) and Lincoln Speedway on April 18-19; fifth, third and second. Finished ninth in Port Royal Speedway’s Keith Kauffman Classic on Saturday, April 26. Finished third at BAPS Motor Speedway on Sunday, April 27.
