By Fully Injected Motorsports:

YORK, Pa. (April 1, 2019) – Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports put together another solid weekend in the Keystone State, this time securing a third place finish during action at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, March 29. The podium run, a product from the inside of row three, was action-packed for the Dallastown-native, as he was forced to deal with Central Pennsylvania heavy hitter, Lance Dewease, for much of the 25-lap program.

Haas is now two-for-two at Williams Grove Speedway in the top-ten category this season; he finished tenth during the facility’s season-opener on Sunday, March 17.

“We were solid on Friday, solid enough to pass the ‘69K.’ I’m not sure I’ve ever done that,” Cory Haas laughed regarding his podium run on Friday. “It was wet and fast. That makes things tough, but we were good enough to make things work on a track like that.”

Despite not finishing inside the top-ten during his visit to Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, March 30, Haas put on an impressive display that included a rally from 22nd to finish 11th. Haas was forced to start deep after missing the scales at the conclusion of his respective heat race, thus forcing the Trone Outdoor Motorsports entry to compete in the consi. A fifth place finish during the evening’s consolation race solidified Haas’ spot in the main event.

Up next on the schedule, Cory Haas and the Trone Outdoor Advertising/Old Republic Distillery/Creekside Auto Sales/Wicked Cushion/No. 39 entry will visit Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, April 5, followed by a visit to the Port Royal Speedway ‘Speed Palace’ on Saturday, April 6. The pair of stops will help Haas test and tune for the upcoming Central PA invasion by Tony Stewart’s All Star Circuit of Champions.
