York, PA (June 11th, 2013) – With big money on the line this weekend in Central Pennsylvania, ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ regular, Cory Haas, plans to step up to the challenge and defeat the invading UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions for a potential $10,000 weekend. The UNOH All Stars, lead by current national point leader and former series champion, Dale Blaney, will be making appearances at the Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway this Friday and Saturday; with each program awarding $5,000 to the winner of the ‘410’ sprint car main event. Cory Haas, who pilots the Mike Barshinger owned, Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc., York P-B Truss, Inc,. no. 11C ‘410’ sprint car, has never won an UNOH All Star main event, but hopes to use his ‘home track advantage’ this weekend and keep the ‘America’s Series’ competitors away from the top spot on the podium.

Cory Haas will kick-off his upcoming weekend with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions on Friday evening, June 14th, at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Haas has already earned one (1) victory at the world famous half-mile oval during his 2013 campaign, and has five-thousand more reasons to make another victory lane appearance this Friday night. Cory Haas is certainly no stranger to Williams Grove Speedway victory lane when big money is on the line. The York, Pennsylvania native captured the 2012 Jack Gunn Memorial victory at the speedway which was also worth $5,000. Unfortunately, the pilot of the Mike Barshinger ‘11C’ sprinter failed to make the UNOH All Star main event line-up during the series’ spring appearance at Williams Grove Speedway. Haas looks forward to erasing that bad memory this weekend.

After their Friday night appearance at the Williams Grove Speedway, Cory Haas and the Mike Barshinger ‘11C’ team will move south to the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania for another full-night of ‘410’ action with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions. The Saturday evening, June 15th program at the Lincoln Speedway will mimic Friday night’s Williams Grove Speedway UNOH All-Star show; it will consist of time trials, heat races, consolation mains (if needed), and a $5,000-to-win main event. Cory Haas is a former ‘410’ and ‘358’ sprint car winner at the Pigeon Hills 3/8’s mile oval, but is still searching for his first Lincoln Speedway win of 2013.
