Fully Injected being represented on the Haas, 11c top wing – KAPtured by Kirstie!
York, Pennsylvania native, Cory Haas, has a busy, yet important, weekend ahead of him; as he plans to participate in both the Williams Grove Speedway ‘National Open’ finale, and the Hank Gentzler Memorial at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday. The former central PA 358 sprint car stand-out has high hopes for this weekend, and will look to capitalize on recent momentum that he built last Friday night.
Haas qualified for the main event last Friday evening with the World of Outlaws at Williams Grove. Out of the 53 entries that were in the pit area, Haas was able to qualify sound enough to put himself on the front row of a heat race. His top two performance in his respective heat qualified him in the evening’s ‘Dash,’ which eventually resulted in an 11th place finish in the 25 lap, World of Outlaws main event. The 11c operation will look to make two consecutive World of Outlaws A-mains this Friday night.
Saturday night’s Gentzler Memorial event at Lincoln Speedway is extra special to the 11c program; as Hank Gentzler acted a vital role in Haas’ early 358 career. Haas, in fact, is a former winner of the event; taking the victory back in 2009. The Gentzler Memorial is a time trial format; with qualifying set to begin at 6PM.
