By Fully Injected Motorsports:
YORK, Pa. (September 16, 2019) – Despite capping his recent weekend with a ‘DNF’ result at Selinsgrove Speedway, an unfortunate ending due to mechanical woes, as well as an 11th place finish during Williams Grove Speedway’s Dirt Classic Qualifier on Friday, September 13, York’s Cory Haas will put his frustration to the side and aim for big money during the coming weekend, as Tony Stewart’s All Star Circuit of Champions will make their Central Pennsylvania return, accompanied by prestige and a boatload of money.
Haas, driver of John Trone’s Trone Outdoor Motorsports/Trone Outdoor Advertising/York PB Truss/Wicked Cushion/Bricker’s/Creekside Auto Sales/Old Republic Distillery/No. 39 sprint car, will join the traveling All Stars at Williams Grove Speedway, as well as at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway on Friday and Saturday, September 20 & 21, chasing a total winner’s share equalling $26,000. Friday’s Tommy Hinnershitz Memorial will award a $6,000 payday, followed by the $20,000-to-win Dirt Classic.
“It’s a big money weekend and we’re excited to be a part of it,” Cory Haas said, who owns two victories in 2019, including one at the world-famous Williams Grove Speedway. “It’s all about qualifying and putting yourself in position early. If we can capitalize and perform well in our heat, we’ll be in great shape. Saturday’s Dirt Classic uses a different format, so we’ll need to be ready for that. John Trone does a great job providing us with the equipment necessary to be fast. I’m confident we’ll be in the hunt all weekend.”
