Craig Mintz Earns First F.A.S.T. Win of 2014 at Attica;
Defending Champ Continues to Lead F.A.S.T. Standings;
F.A.S.T. ‘410’ and ‘305’ Competition Continues Friday and Saturday, June 13th & 14th

Fremont, Ohio (June 9th, 2014) – Gibsonburg, Ohio’s Craig Mintz earned his first Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service main event win on Friday evening, June 6th at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. The defending F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series ‘champ’ dominated F.A.S.T. action at the Attica bullring on Friday night; starting from the pole position and leading every circuit of the 30-lap main event. Mintz, who is also the defending Attica Raceway Park track champion and current Attica ‘410’ sprint point leader, now joins Tim Shaffer, Christopher Bell, Caleb Griffith, Dale Blaney and Brian Lay as a one-time F.A.S.T. main event winner in 2014. Interestingly enough, the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series and F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series each have yet to witness a repeat winner in 2014.
With Craig Mintz dominating the one and only F.A.S.T. program during the recent weekend, the two-time F.A.S.T. champion was able to use that victory as a ‘launch pad.’ The pilot of the Real-Geese Decoys no. 09 finds himself alone at the top of the current Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service point standings with 819 points. Caleb Griffith, a fellow one-time winner during F.A.S.T. competition in 2014, and Chris Andrews find themselves tied for second in the updated championship standings with 765 points; each trailing Mintz by 54 markers. Byron Reed (757) and Brian Lay (742) round out the top five.
Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service competition continues this Friday and Saturday, June 13th & 14th with Nights #8 and #9 of the 2014 schedule. Attica will host action on Friday evening, June 13th; followed by another full card of ‘410’ sprint car competition at the Fremont Speedway on Saturday, June 14th.
The JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro did not host any events during the recent weekend. John Ivy, a one-time winner with the series in 2014 (occurring on ‘opening night’), will lead the F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series into competition this Friday and Saturday, June 13th & 14th at Attica Raceway Park (Night #5) and Fremont Speedway (Night #6.) Ivy leads the current championship standings with 554 points; six (6) points ahead of Lindsey, Ohio native Steve Rando. Dustin Dinan, Jordan Ryan and Jimmy Colvin round out the top five heading into this weekends double-header.
