GETTYSBURG, Pa. (March 23, 2021) – Celebrating his fifth season in connection with one of Pennsylvania’s most successful open wheel programs, Derek Snyder, owner and founder of Self Made Racing, as well as the executive manager and partner of Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC of Boardman, Ohio, will once again be a primary partner on the familiar Gary Kauffman Racing No. 48, helping fuel Danny Dietrich’s on-track success, which already includes one victory in 2021.

Snyder’s roots in racing run deep. Not only is the Ohio-native a tremendous supporter of Dietrich and his efforts in Pennsylvania, but he is also affiliated with Rico Abreu Racing, as well as the promoter of the annual Justin Snyder’s Salute to the Troops program, honoring Derek’s late brother. The event, scheduled for Sunday, July 11, will be conducted at Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio, and will once again feature Tony Stewart’s All Star Circuit of Champions.

“Derek (Snyder) is not only a great partner to our team, but he is also a great friend. He loves the sport as much as anyone I’ve ever met and I’m privileged to have a guy like Derek in my corner. He does so much for Gary Kauffman Racing and we wouldn’t be in the position we are now without his support and dedication,” Danny Dietrich said. “We do our best to represent all of Derek’s entities at the highest level and I think our stat sheet together says a lot.”

As previously announced, Danny Dietrich will boast Snyder’s brands, Self Made Racing, Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC, and Pace Performance, on multiple occasions during the coming weekend which includes three races in three days; Williams Grove Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, and Selinsgrove Speedway on March 26-28.

“We love being a part of Gary Kauffman Racing and we hope to extend this relationship long into the future,” Derek Snyder expressed. “You can never count out a guy like Danny (Dietrich). He’s had a lot of success on-track, which we enjoy being a part of, but he’s also a great ambassador to the sport and a great ambassador to the brands I’m connected with. I see big things happening in 2021 and I’m going to support the team’s efforts every step of the way.”
