GETTYSBURG, Pa. (June 24, 2024) – After an off-weekend to reset and recharge, “Double-D” Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing are now more ready than ever, set to take part in the entire ten-race Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek slate that will commence officially at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, on Friday, June 28.
Dietrich, ace of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Derek Snyder & Self Made Racing, York Excavating, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Racer’s New & Used Parts Warehouse, No. 48 sprint car, will roll into Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek fresh off of an Ohio Sprint Speedweek run that included eight starts in nine days complimented by a pair of podium finishes. Although outside of Ohio Sprint Speedweek championship contention, Dietrich was victorious in his annual visit to the Buckeye State, accomplishing said feat at Sharon Speedway on Wednesday, June 12.
“We needed a weekend off to kinda reset our heads and be ready for PA Speedweek. Ten days is a lot of racing, but there’s a ton of money on the line and we hope to be in contention each and every night,” Dietrich, a former two-time PA Sprint Speedweek champion, noted. “The fans are excited and I know we’re excited. Hopefully the weather cooperates and allows for a great ten days.”
