GETTYSBURG, Pa. (July 15, 2019) – ‘Double-D’ Danny Dietrich put together an impressive stretch of performances during his recent weekend of competition, not only securing three consecutive podium finishes, but clinching an All Star Circuit of Champions victory in the process, doing so at Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, N.Y., on Saturday, July 13. The main event victory, paying a hefty $10,000, was the icing on an impressive evening in Middletown, kicking things off with a heat race victory, followed by a victory during the evening’s dash.
In addition to his victory at Orange County Fair Speedway, Dietrich secured podium runs at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, July 12, as well as at Lebanon Valley Speedway on Sunday, July 14. The podium streak bumped Dietrich’s top-five total to a staggering 32 in 2019, 11 of which are victories including two with Tony Stewart’s All Star Circuit of Champions.
Interesting side note, each of Dietrich’s All Star victories occurred in the Empire State, the first taking shape at Weedsport Speedway on June 9.
“That was a fun weekend. Anytime you can pull off consistency like that says so much about the people you surround yourself with. I have a great crew that works very hard. I certainly appreciate what they do for me, especially with as much traveling as we have been doing,” Danny Dietrich explained, driver of the Gary Kauffman Racing/Weikert’s Livestock/Sandoe’s Fruit Market/Pace Performance/Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts/Drop Of Ink Tattoo/Sweeney Cars/Self Made/No. 48 sprint car. “We have a lot on our schedule the next few weeks .The plan is to keep this momentum moving forward.”
Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2019 campaign with a return to the world-famous Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, July 19. Saturday’s plan has yet to be determined.
