GETTYSBURG, Pa. (August 4, 2020) – It was a perfect weekend for Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing in Pennsylvania Posse Country, not only scoring three victories in three days, but doing so at three different facilities, collecting a grand total of $12,000 in the process.
Dietrich, driver of the Gary Kauffman Racing, Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Pace Performance, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC, Self Made, No. 48 sprint car, earned his undefeated weekend during starts at Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway and Trail-Way Speedway on Friday through Sunday, July 31-August 2, respectively. Although Trail-Way’s effort included a wire-to-wire performance, ‘Double-D’ had to do things the hard way at Williams Grove and Lincoln, first driving by Macri after a restart with eight laps to go at The Grove, then passing his brother, Billy Dietrich, with seven left at Lincoln.
Danny Dietrich now owns seven victories on the season, aiming to snag two more with repeat visits to Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway during the coming weekend.
“That was a lot of fun. We needed a solid stretch like that,” Danny Dietrich said. “We were going through a little bit of a rough patch there for a while, so to finally be able to shake off the bad results and move forward feels pretty good. Our goal is to do the same this weekend. I don’t see why we can’t.”
With the recent weekend included, Dietrich now owns victories at five different tracks in 2020; Lincoln Speedway, Monarch Motor Speedway, Selinsgrove Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway, and Trail-Way Speedway. Monarch Motor Speedway, located in northern Texas, is the only track on Dietrich’s win list not located in Pennsylvania.
