Pittsburgh, PA (April 29th, 2013) – Danny Holtgraver and the B&R Racing ‘45’ team are finally starting to find some rhythm. After spending his recent weekend on the road in Central Pennsylvania with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions, the pilot of the B&R Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Canton Erectors, Alternative Power Sources, DKW Transport, no. 45 ‘410’ sprint car can finally return home not only confident, but also relieved; as the former three-time All Star winner earned a top twelve finish against not only his fellow UNOH All Stars, but against some of the toughest local sprint car competition in the world. The full-time UNOH All Star traveler in 2013 believes that the B&R Racing/Holtgraver combination is getting closer and closer to finding their ‘comfort zone.’

“This weekend showed a lot” said Holtgraver, “Friday night was tough on us at Williams Grove Speedway, but after our Saturday night results at Port Royal Speedway, we know what we are capable of…this ‘45’ team works really hard and I can’t thank them enough for that…Rob Hunter and Bryan Grove have given me a great opportunity to drive their car…we still have some work to do, but we are definitely moving in the right direction…we’ll find our ‘zone’ soon…this is a brand new team; every nut and bolt…sometimes we forget that.”

Danny Holtgraver’s recent results in the Bryan Grove/Rob Hunter owned ‘45’ machine include a twelfth (12th) place finish with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions this past Saturday evening, April 27th; during the annual ‘Weikert Memorial’ at the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania. The B&R Racing ‘45’ team kicked off their evening at the Port Royal Speedway by earning the second fastest time during qualifying time trials. Unfortunately, the former Lernerville Speedway Track Champion was unable to transfer through his respective UNOH All Star heat race; forcing the B&R Racing ‘45’ to compete in the evening’s consolation B-main. Danny Holtgraver would win the consolation B-main in dominating fashion; which in return, put the Canton Erectors ‘45’ machine on the inside of the seventh row for the evening’s 30-lap, $10,000-to-win main event. Holtgraver would finish 12th officially; with Central Pennsylvania veteran, Doug Esh, winning the $10,000 payday. There were thirty-nine (39) UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions sprint cars signed in for action on Saturday evening.

Danny Holtgraver was also in action on Friday evening, April 26th, with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, the B&R Racing ‘45’ was unable to qualify for the evening’s 30-lap, $5,000-to-win All Star main event; with Holtgraver’s night ending in the 12-lap B-main where he finished sixth (6th). There were forty-three (43) UNOH All Stars signed in for action at the Williams Grove Speedway.

“We had a pretty disappointing night at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday…just didn’t have the results we wanted or needed” said Holtgraver, “We had a few opportunities to get ourselves in the show, but just didn’t capitalize…we rebounded well though and had a solid evening at Port Royal on Saturday…that’s another great thing about this team…nobody gives up and nobody relaxes…we keep our heads up and we keep moving forward; erasing what’s behind us so we can stay focused with what we have to do for future events…Brian Kemenah is great crew chief and a great leader…once we find our comfort zone and get things clicking; we should be a car near the front each and every night.”

The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will have the upcoming weekend off before returning to competition on Friday and Saturday, May 10th & 11th. Holtgraver and the entire UNOH All Star roster will make their way to the Lernerville Speedway (PA) and Mercer Raceway Park (PA) on Friday and Saturday, May 10th & 11th; for two complete shows worth ‘Ohio Region’ and ‘National’ points.
