Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected star, Danny Holtgraver, finished 16th earlier this afternoon, against some tough Central Pennsylvania competition, at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The Western Pennsylvania hotshoe started the 25 lap/$3,200-to-win ‘410’ A-main in the seventh position, but fought an ill-handling car the entire distance; having to settle for a finish just outside the top 15.

“We missed the setup” explained Holtgraver when reviewing his afternoon in the Pigeon Hills, “we were just too tight…I fought the car the entire race.”

Although his results did not match what he intended, Holtgraver did not act discouraged:

“It’s like my fourth race of the year so I’m not going to get too worked up over this one… we still have alot to learn about this place (Lincoln Speedway)…we have a long season ahead so we’ll work on some things and hopefully improve!”

=====================================

The former Lernerville Speedway Track Champion did have an impressive run in his respective heat race earlier today; charging from a seventh place starting spot to finish third – just behind Ryan Bohlke and Aaron Ott.  The Kargo Quality Cars and Trucks ‘D4’ held off Fred Rahmer and Nick Schlauch to earn a spot in the pill draw.

Next weekend – Holtgraver and the entire ‘D4’ team plan to head back east to the Pigeon Hills for another round of afternoon racing!
