The 2013 edition of the ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ schedule is made up of eight (8) races over a nine (9) day period; with the UNOH All Stars making appearances at seven (7) different racing facilities along the way. Danny Holtgraver, who will pilot the Canton Erectors, Berlin Natural Bakery, Alternative Power Sources, DKW Transport, no. 45 ‘410’ sprint car during the entire length of speedweek, is anxious to kick-off the nine day adventure through the ‘Buckeye State.’ Holtgraver owns UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ victories at two (2) of the seven (7) tracks that will be hosting ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ events; giving the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native an even bigger boost of confidence heading into the speedweek opener this Friday.

The 31st Annual ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ schedule will kick-off this Friday evening, June 21st, at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. Danny Holtgraver has displayed much success at the high-banked 3/8’s mile oval; winning not only an UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ speedweek event, but also a Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) event earlier this season. The pilot of the B&R Racing ‘45,’ lead by veteran crew leader Brian Kemenah, is the defending winner of the Attica Raceway Park ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ opener.

After the ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ opener on Friday, June 21st at the Attica Raceway Park, the eight (8) race schedule will move on to the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Saturday, June 22nd; the Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield, Ohio on Sunday, June 23rd; the Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio on Monday, June 24th; all before wrapping-up the first half of the schedule on Tuesday, June 25th at the Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio. Danny Holtgraver and the rest of the ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ travelers will enjoy a day off from competition on Wednesday, June 26th. The former Lernerville Speedway sprint car champion does own one (1) UNOH All Star victory at the Wayne County Speedway; but not during ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ competition.

The 31st Annual ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ schedule will wrap up with events at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Thursday, June 27th; Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio on Friday, June 28th; and finally, coming to an end on Saturday, June 29th back at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. All eight (8) races will pay at least $5,000 to the UNOH All Star ‘410’ sprint car main event winner; with Fremont Speedway’s finale on Saturday, June 29th paying $10,000 to the winner. Each speedweek program will also award UNOH All Star points towards the ‘National’ and ‘Ohio Region’ championships.

Danny Holtgraver will enter the 31st Annual ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ tour currently second (2nd) in the UNOH All Star ‘Ohio Region’ standings; while holding down a solid fourth (4th) place position in the overall UNOH All Star ‘National’ standings. The Western Pennsylvania native has one (1) UNOH All Star win thus far in 2013; that coming at the I-77 Raceway Park in the heart of West Virginia. Dale Blaney is the current ‘Ohio Region’ and ‘National’ UNOH All Star point leader heading into ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek.’
