Danny Holtgraver finished third with the All-Stars last night at Attica Raceway Park – Rick Rarer Photo
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, Danny Holtgraver, competed with some of the best in the business again last evening at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. The All-Star Circuit of Champions visited the Attica bullring for night no. 2 of their three day PA/OH/MI Labor Day swing; bringing with them some of the toughest competition in sprint car racing.
Holtgraver set the pace quickly last night; literally- setting the fastest time of the night during qualifying time trials. The Fully Injected member would then transfer from his respective heat race by finishing fourth; which also landed him a spot in the evening’s Dash. A third place finish in the Dash put the former Lernerville Speedway Track Champion on the inside of row no. two for the start of the All-Star main event. Holtgraver would hold on to finish third in the A-main; giving the young pilot two consecutive top six finishes with “America’s Series” (6th at Lernerville on Friday and 3rd last night at Attica). The up front consistency in the last few evening’s of All-Star racing will hopefully give the D4 pilot the momentum he needs for tonight’s event at Butler Speedway in Quincy, Michigan.
‘The Steel City Outlaw’ Tim Shaffer, landed back in victory lane last night at Attica Raceway Park. He would hold off David Gravel once again for the second consecutive night of competition during Labor Day weekend.
