Danny Holtgraver Leads UNOH All Star ‘Ohio Region’ Standings Entering Fremont Two Day Special
UNOH All Stars Spend Memorial Day Weekend at Fremont Speedway May 25th & 26th

Pittsburgh, PA (May 20th, 2013) – Danny Holtgraver and B&R Racing did nearly the impossible this past weekend by winning two out of the three ’410’ main events that they were entered in. Holtgraver, who pilots the B&R Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Canton Erectors, Alternative Power Sources, DKW Transport, no. 45 ‘410’ sprint car, kicked off his recent weekend by winning the first of two ‘twin-25’ main events at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Friday, May 17th. The Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) sanctioned victory was the first of Danny Holtgraver’s young career. The former Lernerville Speedway ‘410’ track champion has visited Attica Raceway Park victory lane once before; that coming during UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions competition back in 2012. The victory was worth $2,500 and gave B&R Racing their third win of the 2013 season. Holtgraver would finish sixth (6th) in the second 25-lap, F.A.S.T. main event on Friday evening.
The B&R Racing ‘45’ team, lead by veteran crew leader and head wrench, Brian Kemenah, would continue their weekend of near domination by winning Saturday night’s UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ main event at the I-77 Raceway Park in Ripley, West Virginia. The win was Danny Holtgraver’s first UNOH All Star win of the 2013 season, and his fourth career UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions victory. The ‘Mountain State’ main event triumph also gave the B&R Racing program it’s fourth (4th) total victory of the 2013 season. The UNOH All Star program on Saturday evening was the first in I-77’s history; with nearly thirty ‘410’ sprint cars making the call in Ripley, West Virginia. The recent weekend proved to be not only satisfying for Danny Holtgraver and B&R Racing, but also motivating.
“It was just an unreal weekend…we needed that in a big way” explained Danny Holtgraver, “It’s obvious; we’ve been having our share of rough nights…but, this team never gave up…Chris, Brian, my dad, everyone who is involved; nobody gave up once…we kept our heads up and kept moving forward…this weekend was big for our confidence as well…allows us to see our potential and what we are capable of doing…I think we are motivated more than ever, now…my owners, Rob Hunter and Bryan Grove, has been more than supportive…it’s just a great feeling to win two out of three this weekend…just ‘wow.’”
Danny Holtgraver and the B&R Racing ‘45’ operation will spend the upcoming Memorial Day weekend at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio; competing in one of the year’s biggest ‘410’ sprint car events in the state of Ohio. The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will be invading the Fremont oval for two complete nights of UNOH All Star ‘Ohio Region’ competition this Saturday and Sunday, May 25th & 26th; highlighted with a 50-lap, $10,000-to-win finale on Sunday, May 26th. Holtgraver will enter the upcoming UNOH All Star Memorial Day weekend leading the ‘Ohio Region’ standings; which is worth $20,000 if captured at season’s end. The recent All Star victory at I-77 Raceway Park allowed Holtgraver and B&R Racing to take command of the ‘Ohio Region’ standing; leading former UNOH All Star ‘National’ champions, Dale Blaney and Tim Shaffer. Danny Holtgraver, who is a full-timer on the All Star tour in 2013, will also enter the weekend ranked fourth (4th) in the current UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions ‘National’ standings. This Saturday and Sunday’s double-header at Fremont Speedway will be the only events for Danny Holtgraver and B&R Racing over Memorial Day weekend.
“We are heading into the weekend with lots of momentum, so that’s a huge plus!” explained Holtgraver, “Anytime you can get some momentum in this sport is huge…we aren’t going to be overconfident, but our heads will be higher than they have been…it just feels good to be on the better side of things for once…this team is working non-stop…I can’t wait to see what this weekend brings!”
